Jeremy Addis-Mills joined CPI in 2015 after more than 10 years working nationally and internationally to bring 21st-century digital and traditional communications tools to assist candidates, elected officials, not-for-profit and corporate clients. Jeremy worked for Environment America, a nonprofit fighting against global warming and for national renewable energy standards in 2007. He became hooked on effecting change through governance in 2008, when he led an electoral field office in Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville, Florida, on behalf of President Obama. He then worked as a communications consultant and as the Communications Director for San Diego City Councilmember David Alvarez. As a consultant, his clients included the Australian Labor Party, Alex Padilla for Secretary of State, David Alvarez for Mayor 2014, Serge Dedina for Imperial Beach Mayor 2014, ResMed Inc. (Oslo, Norway), and San Diego Coastkeeper. Jeremy is a graduate of California State University San Marcos with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Women’s Studies and in Social Sciences.
